Charter RiverQuest for an Evening Cruise, Early Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch Cruise.

A casual buffet or Hors d'oeuvres/Cocktail type gathering where your guests can mingle works best onRiverQuest. We suggest a maximum of 50 guests for everyone's comfort. If you want an intimate sit-down dinner, we suggest a maximum of 30 guests. Please contact us anytime to help plan with your party plans and to discuss specifics.

Food:

On RiverQuest, you supply your own cuisine. Depending on the event, bring Hors d'oeuvres, potluck, light buffet, sandwiches; choose your own caterer or we can supply you with a list of caterers that are familiar with RiverQuest  (see "Caterers" button above). 

OR just have some light apps and dine after your cruise at one of the local area restaurants: Examples: La Vita Gustosa or The Gelston House. We can also offer more suggestions for places in Chester and Essex (Example: The Griswold Inn).

Beverage:

• Any beverage, including alcohol is allowed. Please plan to bring and serve your own.
• If you need coolers, let us know. We have two medium and one large cooler you may use.
• If you need ice, let us know. We will supply a maximum six 5# to 7# bags.

Sound System:

Music: We have good speakers on board, so, bring your Ipod or MP3 player to listen to on your cruise (PLEASE, NO RAP). At this point we do NOT have a CD player.

PA System: We have a walking microphone that you can use for your party or company presentation.

Display Monitor: We have a 42" TV display monitor on the front wall of the cabin that can be used for Powerpoint presentations or to display pictures during your cruise.

Duration:

• A minimum of two hours is required for all Private Charters.
• For Showers, Weddings or Birthday Parties where there will be gifts, a cake and speeches, we strongly suggest a three hour charter.
• If we have nothing scheduled after your charter, you can add extra time to your cruise.

Miscellaneous:

• There are tables and chairs available that can be arranged to fit your exclusive charter needs. We have vinyl table clothes on the tables that you can use or bring your own.
• Bring your own dishware and "paper" supplies.
• Children of any age are allowed on your private cruise.
• Decorations are allowed, however, you'll want to keep it simple!   

Re-location:

• We may be able to pick your group up at a dock other than our home dock. There will be a re-location fee, along with any other fees (example: docking, parking) that may be charged to us. We must approve the dock. E-mail or call us to discuss options.
• If your chosen dock will not work, no worry, our parking lot is huge! If you bring a bus, it can stay in the parking lot. There is PLENTY of FREE, EASY parking at our home berth, Eagle Landing State Park.

2013 Private Charter Prices:

Charter price includes the entire vessel, along with the Captain and Crew, to be exclusively yours. There are no added or hidden fees. Our price also includes a ½ hour setup time at the dock (Example: start setup at 6:00pm, leave the dock at 6:30pm and return to the dock at 8:30pm). 

Departing from Haddam:

Evenings:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

After 3:30pm: $1100 for two hours on the water. Additional time on the water: $250 per hour.

Monday through Thursday:

After 5:00pm: $900 for two hours on the water. Additional time on the water: $250 per hour.

Mornings:

Saturday and Sunday:

Departs from Haddam only:

Mornings (start any time, end by 1:00pm): $900 for two hours on the water.

Our Special Priced Daytime Weekday Charter:

Departs from Haddam only (great for corporate picnics or team building):

$750 for two hours on the water, for a maximum of 45 guests.

Mornings:

Monday and Friday:

Start your setup at 10:30am, leave the dock at 11:00am and return at 1:00pm.

Wednesday and Thursday:

Start your setup at 9:00am, leave the dock at 9:30am and return at 11:30am.

Afternoons:

Monday (April through August):

Start your setup at 3:00pm, leave the dock at 3:30pm and return at 5:30pm.

Wednesday and Thursday (After September 15, only the 2:00pm time slot is available):

Start your setup at 2:00pm, leave the dock at 2:30pm and return at 4:30pm.

Start your setup at 2:30pm, leave the dock at 3:00pm and return at 5:00pm.

Start your setup at 3:00pm, leave the dock at 3:30pm and return at 5:30pm. 

Departing from Saybrook Point Inn (OSPI):

NOTE: This option is for customer's of the OSPI, i.e., coporate meetings or group functions that have been booked at the Inn.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

After 5:30pm: $1450 for two hours on the water. Additional time on the water: $250 per hour. 

Monday through Thursday:

After 5:00pm: $1250 for two hours on the water. Additional time on the water: $250 per hour 

NOTE: We are also proud to honor any active USA Military Personnel $50 off the price of their charter. Please contact us.

Available Dates and Times:

Check our Calendar. If an evening lists "Public Sunset Cruise", "Open" or is blank, that evening is available for a Private Charter. If an evening lists "Pending" it may be available. Contact Us and we'll check with the "Pending" party.

If an evening is not available, please consider a morning brunch or the weekday $750 charter described above.

Regardless of the time or day.....it is always beautiful on the river.
