Cruise Description:

RiverQuest  offers a peaceful, relaxing very affordable Sunset/Evening Cruise on the beautiful lower Connecticut River. It is beautiful out here anytime. Cloud cover is OK!

On RiverQuest, if desired, we will have a small table for you and there will be a chair available so that you can sit comfortably during the cruise. The cruise is very casual, you can walk about the boat if you'd like. 

At the end of a hectic workday, busy day with the kids (parents: get a sitter, take a break), visiting, new to the area or a local who just wants to remember the beautiful area we live in, please join us aboard RiverQuest and experience the river as we quietly cruise along these unspoiled waters.

On this cruise, about two hours in length, we do only light narration so that you can just relax and enjoy.  Enjoy the spectacular beauty as we aimlessly cruise the lower Connecticut River, an area that the Nature Conservancy considers to be "One of the Last Great Places".

Bring a group (up to 10**) of your friends, co-workers, family or just yourself. Gather around a table with your picnic basket and your "favorite" beverage (alcohol is allowed).

**NOTE: Our "standard" Sunset Cruise is designed to be a relaxing, enjoyable cruise for everyone. Please be aware that there are other passengers on board and please be respectful for their enjoyment. We do offer other cruises: Parrothead, Cinco De Mayo and more (see our Special Cruise Dates Page or Calendar) where we will play music and offer special things and the atmosphere is much louder.

Walk-ons are always welcome if we have not met our capacity! If we do meet our capacity, we will leave the dock before our scheduled departure.

Public Sunset Cruise Prices for 2013 (we have not increased our prices for 10 years): 

$25.00 per adult. 

Due to the length and time of this relaxing cruise, No passengers under 12-ish please! Thanks. (Children of any age are welcome on any of our Daytime Cruises).

Need to fill your picnic basket??

Here are some places in Haddam you can pick up food: Tylerville Country Market (great sandwiches),The Cooking Company (not open on Sunday), Haddam Pizza, Dunkin' Donuts or Subway. If you have come off exit 7, Route 9, Haddam Pizza is on the left before the light, The Cooking Company is on the right just before the light. On Route 82/Bridge Road: Subway is on the left, Tylerville Country Market is on the right, Dunkin' Donuts is on the left. If you need some "favorite beverage", Tony's Liquor Store is on the right on Route 82/Bridge Road, next to the Tylerville Country Market. 

We will have a cooler with ice on board to keep your beverage cold or to add ice to your beverage.

Or go to one of the local eateries (La Vita Gustosa or The Gelston House, both in East Haddam or The Blue Oar in Haddam) before or after your cruise.

We can accommodate pre-arranged small groups (up to 12 persons) for a public sunset cruise, however, if someone wants that evening for a Private Charter, the charter will take precedence (good old economics). We'll call or e-mail you to give you first choice of the evening as a Private Charter. Larger Groups that are over 12 persons, Contact Us or call.
